Without kale
A simple, healthy and nutrient-dense green smoothie to start the day or post-workout. Kale is packed with nutrients and antioxidants and gives the smoothie a vibrant green colour. And don’t worry – it won’t add any bitterness. Avocado provides healthy fats to help absorb all the nutrients and also gives your smoothie a creamy texture. Banana is always my go-to to provide natural sugar to my green smoothies. 2 tbsp of chia seeds provide 10 g of fiber and I have been incorporating it every morning in my smoothie or breakfast bowls.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 avocado
- 2 cups of kale
- 1 cup of rice milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 1 scoop of vegan protein powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp of chia seed
- 2 tbsp of granola with flaxseed
Directions
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend for 30 seconds on high, or until creamy.
